常日頃見る山々なのに具体的な名称は知らない。日常過ぎるせいかもしれない。ただ、大雪山連峰のいっかくを担う山だろう。

夕陽があたり山々の鼓動のようなうねりや起伏が綺麗に見えた。

保存の会

平成１８年４月をもって全線廃止となった北海道ちほく高原鉄道ふるさと銀河線の「上利別駅」である。

ふるさと銀河線の線路は既に各自治体に整理され、遊歩道になったり鉄道公園として整備されたり、道路あるいは隣接する畑と一体利用されたりしているが、駅舎のほとんどは写真のように現存しているようだ。

これら歴史的（老朽化した）建物は維持管理の費用については頭を悩ませているようだ。本音としてはそうそうに取り壊し撤去したいところだろうが、取り壊し後の土地利用の方向性が見いだせないほど駅舎のある周辺地域は疲弊しており費用の投入に躊躇しているようだ。

当然こういったものを保存しようとする運動もあるが、物理的な現物保存には過分な費用がかかる。
個人的には写真として残すことしかできないけれど、管理者はそういうコンペでもして資料を集め、保存しても良いのでは無いかと思う。
写真部門としてコンペをすれば、いわゆるオタッキーな皆さんがかなり濃い目線で撮った写真が集まるだろう。絵画部門があっても良い。中には現物を見て図面を作成する人もいるかもしれない図面部門。取り壊し後の資材を使った彫刻やモニュメントのアイディア部門なんてのも良いかもしれない。

またやってしまった

現在のデジカメの主力であるR4のCCDにゴミが映り込む。過去に何度もやっている掃除機で吸い出す作戦に出たが、またレンズバリアを破壊してしまった。

普段のお散歩カメラにはP-01EでもL-03Cでも良い。
仕事の現場写真ではちょっと困るかもしれないが、もう直す気力もないし、そもそも小さなバネがなくなってしまったのでバリアのない状態で使うことにする。

魅力的なコンデジも買えないし、こうなったら携帯電話のカメラ機能で我慢するしかない。
そうだ！携帯写真家になろう。とぐぐってみたら既に何人もの携帯写真家の皆さんが居た(笑)。

ま、肩肘張らずに撮りたい時に撮って、記憶の罠を残しまくろうと思う。

ひくと粗がみえる

我が家の小さな庭に義姉が植えたスズランが咲いた。
よく見られるのは「ドイツスズラン」で、このスズランもドイツスズランだろう。

子供の頃はあちこちで見かけた自生のスズラン（たぶん在来種）は今ではすっかり見かけられない。

続いていた雨や低気温も昨日から回復。帯広の標準木で満開宣言となった。

今朝、我が家の庭の桜を見ると6分咲きといったところだろうか。
写真は結構咲きそろっているように見えるが、いわゆる「良いとこ撮り」で、フレームの外にはまだつぼみも多い。

時計

似ているけど、Gショックではない。

送料込みで2500円でおつりがくる非常に安価なCASIOの時計だ。老眼の私にも視認性がよく、左右のボタンは大きく押しやすい。しかも軽量。なんでも１０年も電池が持つらしい。更に100M防水。若いころから時計とともに入浴するので防水性能が良いのは嬉しい。

時間を知りたい時にほぼ正確な時間を知ることができる道具としては秀逸だ。
もっと言うならG-shockに似ているのが良い(笑)。

カビじゃないよ

携帯電話であるから、iPhoneをどのように携帯しているかという本質的な使い方に関わる大きな問題。

愛用のiPhoneに白くカビたようなホコリがついている。
ジーンズのポケット(尻側じゃない)に入れて持ち歩いているのだが、ポケットの布からこのようなホコリが付いてしまうようだ。
ついでに言えば、iPhoneの美しさの象徴とも言えるラウンドした四つの角？はボディーブローのようにポケットに結構なダメージを与え続け、最終的には穴を開ける。

多くのオーナーはiPhoneをどこに入れて携帯しているのだろうか。
以前はYシャツなど胸ポケットがあれば、そこに入れて携帯していたが、どうもこうした電子機器が自分の心臓の真上にあるのは心地よくない。事実、不整脈が生じ具合が悪くなったこともある。これは古い携帯電話(10年ほど前)にもあって、胸ポケット以外のところに入れて携帯していたが、携帯電話の電磁波が人体に及ぼす影響は無視できるほど低位だという話を見聞きしてからまた胸ポケットに入れるようになったのだが、心地悪さからズボンのポケットに入れるようになった。

これだけホコリまみれになるのだから内部にもそれなりに混入しているのだろう。しかも、量は少なくはないハズだ。
最近、ホームボタンの応答が鈍くなってきた。ホコリが原因なのか。

御神渡りのような

御神渡りは湖など湖面が凍結する時期に氷が膨張と収縮を繰り返すことによって湖面の氷が音をたてて山脈のように盛り上がる現象であるが、そのメカニズムはかなり複雑なようだ。
全国的には諏訪湖の御神渡りが有名で、諏訪大社上社の男神が下社の女神のもとへと渡る恋の道である、というロマンチックな言い伝えがある。

写真は湖ではないし、氷が膨張・収縮を繰り返してできたものでもない。雪国ではわりと見られる現象で、早い話が人が歩いて踏み固められた雪が周囲の踏み固められていない雪よりも雪解けが遅いことから踏み固められた部分が取り残されたもの。きっとその発生するメカニズムも御神渡りにまけず複雑なモノに違いない。

見た目は雪原に現れた御神渡りではあるが、明らかに誰かが歩いた結果であるという動かしがたい現実がちょっと残念でならない。

ところで、ＥＸＩＦ情報からファイル名を生成して管理することはどっかで書いたと思う。で、その情報のひとつに撮影年月日、時分秒があるんだがカメラの設定を見て１時間も進んでいたのにはビックリした。で、この写真は「進んでいる状態」。

使う

道具はピカピカと光り放つ新品の魅力には工業生産物としての芸術的美しさがあるが、どこかひんやりとしたものを感じる。
その道具が使われ、なにかを作り、道具が使い込まれていくうちにピカピカは鈍くなりながらツヤを醸成した新たな光りを放つ。人の手足となりモノを作る道具になるにつれて、どこか暖かみが感じられるものになる。

使うということは、モノを変貌させる。

上野公園の桜

今朝のTVで上野公園の花見の様子が報道されていた。
花見は日本人の心の深いところにすり込まれている祭りなんだろう。朝から会社の新人さんが先輩達の言いつけで場所取りに来ていた。場所取りは新人の役目をイジメとか体罰とか言っては野暮ってものだ。これは伝統の継承行為であり、無理に有休扱いとせず業務の一環として実行させるのが清く正しく美しい伝統継承行為だ。と思う。

北海道はまだ雪が残るどころか、このあたりでも20日夜から20～30cmの積雪となった。
それでも日も長く、日差しも強く暖かいので、日中で随分雪が溶けた。

道路脇に寄せられた雪山に登って、あたりを見回すまる。土の匂いで春が近いことを感じているのだろうか。
春が近いぞ！と周囲を偵察するまるであった。

ところで、いわゆるAF、AEのデジタルカメラ(携帯電話のカメラ機能を含む)って、ISOやAEの数値でゲインコントロールやシャープネス処理をしたりしなかったりするような気がする。

今日のお散歩カメラ。GXでAWBの実験だった。
予想外のことに気がついたのでメモしておく。

このサイズでは左右の画像の違いが分かりにくいが、右の方がピントが浅い。
EXIFファイルで分かるが、右の方が解放値付近で撮影されているのに対して、左は絞り込まれている。なぜ絞りにこのような違いがでるのか分からないが、事実としてそうなった。

こういうタイプのデジカメは絞り優先AEモードで撮った方が予期せずピントが浅くなるのを防ぐことができるはずだ。恐らく作り手も絞り優先AEモードが推奨なのではないか。（ただ、絞り優先AEモードでも絞りは三段階の切り替えしかない。）


そういえばR4はEXIFを見ると解放値付近での撮影ばかりになっている。こういうカメラの場合は被写界深度などは気にすることなくフルオートで撮りまくるのが一番らしい。
ただ被写体を流したいとか止めたいという場合にはISOレートをマニュアル設定して意図した表現をすることになるんだろうな。

暗闇の中で

昨夜、かねてから妄想していた銀塩カメラによる夜景撮影の予習というか事前調査をR4持参で行ってきた。

調査項目は

• 安全な撮影場所
• 三脚の設置具合(大きな傾き)
• フレーミングの難易
• 露出(特に露光時間)

だ。

結果的にはフレーミングは絶望的に困難な感じだ。
今回はデジタルカメラだったので、撮影後直ちに画像確認、微調整を繰り返して、それなりの画像を得ることができたが、銀塩カメラではファインダー内は真っ暗で、かすかな明かりを目印に撮影しても、直後に確認できない。勘撮りとならざるを得ない。
ファインダーではなく、アクセサリーシューにフレーミング用の枠？のようなものをつけてやれるかもしれないが、そんなもの持っていないので自作するしかあるまい。自作しても実用性を高めるには何度かテストが必要だろう。

とにかく「勘撮り」にかけるしかあるまい。

今はやり風

女房の手によるキルトが娘の部屋に貼ってあった。

窓から猛暑を忘れたたかのような柔らかな光と秋の風が入ってくる。


よく見かける雑誌風に撮ってみた。
もう1/3くらいアンダーでも良かったかも、キルトにフォーカスを合わせたつもりだが白壁に向かってのAFはやや当てにならないようだ。

EXIFによればシャッタースピードが思ったよりはるかに遅い。ピリっとしたところがないのは手ぶれだと思う。

ゴミ取り

R4で撮った写真にゴミが写り込む。またCCDにゴミが？と思った。写真左上側がそれだ。

CCDにゴミが簡単に付くものだろうか？という単純な疑問に行き当たる。

一応、レンズにゴミや汚れはないか目視で確認するが、それらしきものは見当たらない。なのでやはりCCDにゴミが付いたのだろう。

どうも調べて見るとCCDにゴミが付いてしまうというのはよくあることのようで、いわゆるデジイチではCCD(CMOS)を振動させてゴミをふるい落とす機能が付いたものもある。

ほとんどのコンデジにはそのような機能がないのでこのような場合、偶然に取れるのを期待しながら我慢して使うか、これ幸いと新しいカメラを買うきっかけにするらしい。

自分の場合、ゴミを取る努力をするのだが、過去に何度もやっている「掃除機」を使う方法を紹介がてらメモしておこうと思う。

	R4の電源を入れて、ズームを一杯まで効かせレンズ鏡胴を最大に引き延ばし、電池蓋を開けて電池を外し、オートパワーオフで鏡胴が格納されないようにしておく。 写真では分かりづらいが、レンズ先端のアッセンブリーをセロテープで固定している。 掃除機の吸引力に負けて、アッセンブリーごと吸い込まれるのを防ぐ。 過去に吸い込まれて、修復の為のパーツ欲しさに500円でジャンクR4を購入したこともある。
	あとは写真の通り掃除機の吸い込み口をレンズにかぶせて、掃除機のスイッチをONにすればよし。 この時、吸引力の調整が可能ならば、「弱い」吸引力で始めた方が無難な気がする。 CCDからゴミが取れたかどうかは、実際に何かを撮ってみて見比べるしか方法はない。 ゴミが取れていなければ、もう一度同じ作業を試みるしかない。

上記の作業を行った後に撮ったテスト画像。

会社の窓にはまっている網戸である。テストの被写体としてこれが適正なのかどうかは疑問だが、ゴミは取れているようだ。

めでたし、めでたし。

つなぎとめた

昨年、娘が母の日に贈ってくれたカーネーション。
今春に肥料をやりすぎて枯れる寸前までいったが、なんとか花が咲くまで回復してくれた。良かった、良かった。

隠れ蓑

とある役場に仕事で行った。
今朝の新聞にはカワアイサが出現したという記事が出ていたので、きっと多くのカメラマンが着ているだろうなと思っていたが案の定。

その中には自分の知り合いも二人いていろいろと聞いてみると、昨年より人の数は2/3と少ないようだが、遠方から（駐車場の車のナンバーから）来た人が多いようだとのこと。

それにしても迷彩色のジャケットやキャップで身を包んだカメラマンが多いのには少し驚く。ここは近所の人も訪れる役場の駐車場ワキの公園なので迷彩色はかえって目立つような印象。もっともカワアイサからどのように見えるのかは分からないんだけれどね。

約40人がカワアイサの移動を追いかけて右往左往するカメラマン。
とにかく立派な機材をお持ちのカメラマンが多く、メーカー的にはニコンが多く、次いでキャノン。首から提げているのは80-300mmのズームレンズを装着した一眼レフ。三脚には500-800mmのレンズを付けた一眼レフが鎮座している。
失礼だが年齢的にはお歳をめされた方ばかりだ。

正直、うらやましいぞ。と思わなくもないが、ターゲットが違うので同じ機材は必要としない。
